Cowboys get Jemea Thomas off Waivers

Jemea Thomas was a sixth round pick for the New England Patriots this year. He didn't make any notable differences what so ever, and was cut on the first cut-down day. Well now he gets his second chance with the Dallas Cowboys according to Pro Football talk

The former cornerback and safety from Georgia Tech was thought to be able to bring a certain charisma to the Patriots defense, but he just didn't show off anything worthy of dawning the red white and blue. But Dallas is hurting for defense, and with the final cutdown coming on Saturday, there is a chance that he will be able to stick around long enough to fulfill his dream of being an NFL player.

Even though he couldn't make it in New England, it doesn't mean that Thomas isn't any good. It simply means that he didn't fit into the Patriots Way. But Belichick had expressed interest in him earlier this year before the draft, so there is a lot to say about that.
