Steve Smith won Ravens office pool for getting into zero fights in joint practices with 49ers

We all know that Steve Smith can be a bit of a hot head at times. While the image of Luke Kuechly humping Gronk's leg in the back of the endzone is the first thing I conjure up when thinking of the Panthers, Talib and Smith's wrestling match does come in a close second. And of course the phrase "Ice Up Son" will forever be in our memories.
But, maybe Steve Smith has had a change of heart. According to Baltimore Sun (and Mr. Smith himself), Smith was nothing but an angel in joint practices with the 49ers:
"'I think I won the office pool because they had over-unders on my fights,' Smith said with a laugh. 'I had zero, so I get all the cash.'"
Is this a changed man? No. But I am impressed he was able to keep his temper for 72 hours. That's more than a lot of NFL players can say. But don't expect Smith to be all friendly if the Patriots play the Ravens in the playoffs. He'll still be his same old self, just now a little richer.
