Legalized marijuana helping Peyton Manning's pizza business
Peyton Manning's move from Indianapolis to Denver may have been emotionally difficult at first, but it sure has had its fair share of benefits both on and off the football field.
The legalization of marijuana can be viewed as a positive or negative based on your stance, but its effect on other aspects of living is a whole different story. Manning, now an owner of over 20 Papa John's Pizza franchises, admitted in an interview with SI's Peter King, that there's been a spike in productivity:
“There’s some different laws out here in Colorado,” Manning said. “Pizza business is pretty good out here, believe it or not, due to some recent law changes. So when you come to a different place, you’ve kind of got to learn everything that comes with it.”
You have to give credit to Manning on this one, that was smart planning on his part. A QB who gets plenty of praise for his pregame preparation and heavy studying of game-plans/schemes, Manning's pre-Denver research looks like it is paying off, literally.
