Tom Brady's feelings got deflated over deflategate

During the last week so many wild allegations have been thrown around with no evidence to back them up. A lot of those have been aimed at Tom Brady.

Sometimes it can be easy to forget that these football players are human. That they hear and see everything that is being said about them, even though they try and convince us otherwise.

All week we have heard "Its about the integrity of the game" from reporter after reporter who repeatedly ignored their own integrity and credibility to report unsubstantiated rumors. These rumors being thrown out to the blood thirsty anti-Patriot crowd became direct attacks on the integrity of Tom Brady. Someone, who in his 15 year career has proven to be the utmost professional. One who deserves hard proof before people declare him a cheater.

Brady in his Monday morning interview admitted that all this talk had affected him personally. How could it not?

"I personalized a lot of things and thought this was all about me and my feelings got hurt, and then I moved past it because it's not serving me," Brady said Monday morning during his weekly appearance on sports radio WEEI's "Dennis & Callahan" program.

I think what's serving me is to try to prepare for the game ahead, and I'll deal with whatever happens later. I'll have my opportunity to try to figure out what happened and figure out a theory like everyone else is trying to do. But this isn't the time for that, and honestly I'm not interested in trying to find out right now because we have the biggest game of our season ahead.

Brady continues to handle this situation with class, as he has handled everything his whole career. If he has been able to channel the disappointment he felt for being drafted in the sixth round for 15 year and use it as daily motivation, who knows what he will be able to due with all the hatred that has been thrown his way this past week.

Unfortunately for the Seahawks, they will be the ones Brady takes out his frustrations on come February 1st.
