Terrell Suggs voices his support for Tom Brady

I'm honestly at a loss for words with this one. Patriots fans know well that Terrell Suggs and Tom Brady have had a pretty intense, personal rivalry throughout their careers. It seems maybe things have cooled down in recent months.

Suggs, one of the more outspoken players in the NFL, actually voiced his support for Brady in his quest to get his four-game suspension vacated.

“The guy (Brady) is a winner,” Suggs told ESPN. “He’s won with whatever kind of personnel that he’s had. So I don’t think it (Deflategate) really tarnished it … Everybody needs something to write about and needs something to talk about. It’s always something. I’m leaving that alone.”

This could have been a chance for Suggs to completely tear in to Brady and no one would have been shocked by it. It speaks volumes to the player Brady truly is if Suggs is saying something like this.

Brady of course, praised Suggs back in January before the Pats and Ravens played in the AFC Divisional round. Suggs returned the favor after the game, saying Brady is "a pretty good quarterback."

The Patriots do not play the Ravens during the regular season, but there's always a chance they could meet in the playoffs.

Brady's appeal will be heard next Tuesday, June 23.
