Study ranks Patriots fans as 2nd best in the NFL

The New England Patriots have the second best fanbase in the NFL, according to a study conducted by Emory Sports Marketing Analytics.

Only Dallas Cowboys fans ranked ahead of the Patriots.

Jeremy Bergman of NFL.com reports the study hinges on market outcomes, such as attendance, ticket prices and revenues. This means that the study leaned heavily on the amount of money spent on a team.

A few things that surprised me about this study were that I would have thought the Packers and Steelers would be much higher than they are. The same can be said for the Eagles and, while this could be a bit of a stretch, the Broncos.
