Tom Brady, NFLPA to go to court if his suspension isn't overturned

Tom Brady's appeal results regarding his four-game suspension are expected some time this afternoon. A report that came out earlier this morning said that the NFL Players Association and Brady will take NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to court if the suspension is not completely eradicated.

This would be the expected move if it's true. Few expect Brady to accept any penalty because he wants to clear his name.

Throughout this saga, Brady has claimed to be innocent. He's been smart not to speak out about his suspension or anything related to Deflategate because it's likely he would have made things worse no matter what he said.

If Brady does go to court, he can delay the suspension and be on the field for Week 1 against the Steelers. That remains to be seen. We'll have more as it happens.
