Tom Brady pays tribute to Muhammed Ali, jokes about being drafted by defunct MLB team

The world turned upside down over the weekend as boxing legend Muhammed Ali unfortunately passed away last Saturday. Many news outlets, athletes and fans posted tributes to Ali on social media, and Tom Brady was one of them.

You have to love to see that kind of respect given from one star athlete to another.

On a happier note, Brady put up a quirky post last week about being selected by the defunct Montreal Expos in 1995. Brady was drafted by the franchise that is now the Washington Nationals as a catcher. But like he said, thank god he stuck with football.
