Earlier this morning, it was reported by multiple outlets that the Patriots were going to cut Bryan Stork. Instead, the Pats traded him to the Washington Redskins for a conditional draft pick.

Mark Daniels of The Providence Journal reports that the Patriots did indeed inform Stork of his release, but believes the Redskins got involved in order to avoid trying to claim Stork on waivers.
