Player to Watch - Bills blunted if defense stuff McCoy

This week your player to watch seems pretty obvious. It is Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy.

LeSean 'Shady' McCoy has established himself as one of the best all-purpose running backs in the NFL since he entered the league. He was drafted in the 2nd Round out of the University of Pittsburgh in the 2009 NFL Draft by the Eagles and excelled in Philadelphia breaking the franchise rushing record in 6 seasons. In the 2015 offseason, the Buffalo Bills got a real coup picking up McCoy in a trade for Kiko Alonso and offered him a five-year deal worth 40 millions dollars. After some stellar years in Philly, 'Shady' has struggled to reproduce the numbers as consistently in Buffalo, not because of his own effort but due to being on a team with less quality.

After a slow start to the season, McCoy came to life in Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals with 110 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. This showed once again the talent he has and combine that with the maverick that is Tyrod Taylor and star receiver Sammy Watkins, they are a viable threat for any team. If the Patriots are to pick up the win in this one, it is key that every time McCoy gets the ball the defense need to stuff him early because the more time he has on the ball, the more damage can be done through his unpredictability. If the defense successfully do this, the error-prone Taylor will have to throw a lot more passes than he wishes and we all know he is not the most accurate quarterback in the league.

So if I was in Coach Belichick's shoes, focus on stopping McCoy first and then the offense will start to struggle.
