Thousands of fans, along with Kraft, Belichick, Brady and more were all fired up Monday morning as a Send-Off Rally was held at Gillette Stadium before the team headed to Houston for Super Bowl LI.

The rally began around 9 a.m. outside of The Hall at Patriot Place. Many dedicated fans braved the cold and played hooky from work and school to give their team the proper send off. They even came with posters and signs that read, “One More,” “Belichick for President” and more.
Speakers at the event included owner Robert Kraft, head coach Bill Belichick, quarterback Tom Brady and team captain Matthew Slater.
Kraft took to the podium to thank the “greatest fans in the world.”
“23 years ago, we bought the team and you lined up on Route One and you sold out every game we’ve ever played here,” Kraft said to the crowd, “We think back, we were talking in the locker room back to the game we played Pittsburgh, that the stadium has never been louder. We thank you for that. Since you fans have lined up with us, since 1994, we’ve played 23 home playoff games and you have been an asset in helping us win 20 of them. Thank you.”
He went on to speak highly about his organization and its leaders, Brady and Belichick.
“Now, you’ve had the privilege of rooting for the greatest players anyone could have on any team and we’re led by the GOAT, this GOAT here, Tom Brady. But we have all the captains here with him and they are fortunate to be coached by the greatest coaching staff led by the GOAT coach of all-time Bill Belichick.”
Brady added that the team needs the fans’ support more than anything and urged them to “rest up, hydrate and get ready for Sunday because it’s going to be a hell of a game.”
“Hopefully we see you back at Foxboro with a win. Go Pats! Let’s go!”
