Despite concussion issues, Shea McClellin plans to play next season

Patriots linebacker Shea McClellin wants to continue his playing career in 2018 despite missing the entire 2017 season with concussion issues.

It looked like McClellin was going to come back in November, but he suffered a setback and never got onto the field. The Patriots certainly could have used him, especially given all the injuries New England suffered on defense.

McClellin is under contract with the Pats for 2018.
