Patriots bring in martial arts expert to help pass rushers

The Patriots are using a somewhat unconventional tactic to help their pass rushers.

The team is hiring Taekwondo expert Joe Kim to be a pass rushing consultant. According to multiple reports, this isn't the first time Kim has worked in the NFL and it's also not the first time he's worked with Bill Belichick.

Kim has worked with 10 NFL teams since 1992, one of them being Belichick's Cleveland Browns, which was Kim's first NFL gig. He will help the Patriots with their hand-to-hand combat skills.

New England's pass rush last season was not great, so any improvements to it will be welcome. Getting Dont'a Hightower back should help exponentially, as well as acquiring Danny Shelton and Adrian Clayborn.
