Patriots rookie offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn will miss his rookie season with a torn Achilles he suffered last night against the Eagles.
Patriots’ first-round pick, OT Isaiah Wynn, tore his Achilles vs. the Eagles and he will be out for the season, per source. The worst of the preseason on display.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) August 17, 2018
Wynn left the game in the first quarter and had to be carted to the locker room from the sideline. It's definitely a blow to New England's offensive line, as Wynn figured to be a player the team could play at multiple positions.
This is the second year in a row the Patriots will be without their top draft pick, as Derek Rivers was out all of last season with a torn ACL.
