Brandon Bolden to sign with Miami

So much for Brandon Bolden re-signing with the Pats.

Bolden is taking his talents to South Beach to join up with Danny Amendola and the Miami Dolphins, according to multiple reports. Many, including myself, figured Bolden could be brought back not long after being cut, which was the case last year. That isn't happening this time around, and it's surprising to see him go.

Bolden spent six years in New England after he signed with them in 2012 as an undrafted free agent. While he was mostly used on special teams, Bolden did come up in some big moments. The best game of his career came in 2012 against the Bills, where he rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown.

Bolden was also responsible for knocking then-Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril out of Super Bowl XLIX after Bobby Wagner intercepted Tom Brady in the middle of the third quarter.

Bolden was one of the more well-liked players in the locker room as well, so he will be missed in more ways than one.
