Patriots interested in trading for CB Patrick Peterson

Patrick Peterson, Cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals, has requested a trade by the deadline on October 30th and of course, the Patriots are a frontrunner to acquire him. The Patriots have Stephon Gilmore, Jason McCourty, Eric Rowe, and Jonathan Jones at CB right now, and they've done fairly well over the course of the season, but most-likely one of them would be cut or traded in an effort to clear cap space for Peterson.

Patrick Peterson is a All-Pro cornerback who if paired with Stephon Gilmore could be a lethal duo. I think they would be the best CB duo in the league. Peterson has allowed, 16 catches on 28 targets for 134 yards with two interceptions and no touchdowns allowed. Peterson has also posted an opposing passer rating of 39.9 through seven games.

Patrick Peterson would be a tremendous help to the Patriots defense. With Patrick Chung and Devin McCourty at Safety, and Gilmore and Peterson at CB, good luck throwing on the New England secondary. I already think that the Pats defensive backs are underrated but to add Patrick Peterson? They would be incredible.
