Nickell Robey-Coleman digs himself a hole, trash talks the Patriots and Tom Brady

Here we go.
Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman has fired the first big shot of Super Bowl week. The former Buffalo Bill, who is obviously familiar with the Patriots, went in on how much he hates them and how he thinks age has caught up to Tom Brady.
"I've got Buffalo blood running through my veins, so you know I hate these guys. I naturally hate them. I never liked New England."
“It's the little things, he explains. The ‘arrogance.’ The fact that Bill Belichick is going to go for it on 4th-and-3 when he's leading 17-0 in the fourth quarter. The Patriots love 'antagonizing' teams, Robey-Coleman says.
" ‘S--t like that. Little s--t to look down upon a team,’ he adds. ‘Little assh--e stuff like that. That's what makes you not like New England.’ ”
All of that is fair. Guy was in Buffalo for a while and consistently lost to the Pats every year. And he isn't the first person to say he doesn't like when the Pats run up the score, so I've got no issue with any of that.
Robey-Coleman tried to explain why he thought age was catching up to Brady and it was....interesting.
"Age has definitely taken a toll. For him to still be doing it, that's a great compliment for him. But I think that he's definitely not the same quarterback he was,” Robey-Coleman assessed. "Movement. Speed. Velocity. Arm strength. He still can sling it, but he's not slinging it as much. Whatever he was doing -- because of his age and all that -- he's not doing as much of that anymore. He's still doing the same things; he's just not doing as much of it. And sometimes, it's not the sharpest. But it still gets done."
This thing is kind of a mess. Whatever he was doing -- because of his age and all that -- he's not doing as much of that anymore? What does that even mean? What specifically is he seeing (or not seeing?)
Maybe I'm just dumb (likely) but Brady's been attempting a lot of the same throws he always has. Has he made more uncharacteristic mistakes than he has in the past? Sure. But, he's right about one thing - it still gets done, which means Robey-Coleman may be in for a rough night on Sunday.
