A rough start to the offseason was had for eight NFL head coaches, as they were fired from their positions on Monday.
Amidst rumors once again to potentially fulfill a head coach vacancy is New England Patriots offensive coordinator, Josh McDaniels. He has previous head coaching experience and was very close to taking the job with the Indianapolis Colts, but backed out before the start of the 2018 season. It is rumored that the Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packers are interested in him.
Joining him this go-round is also defensive coach Brian Flores. The Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers are said to have their sights set on Flores.
The two coaches are allowed to interview this week while the Patriots have a first-round bye in the playoffs.
