Patriots Performers of the Week (Preseason game 2)

The Patriots beat the Tennessee Titans and familiar face head coach Mike Vrabel this Saturday night 22-17 in a close battle.

The victory was definitely not as dominant as the first preseason matchup, as the Patriots trailed for a majority of the game.

Here are the standout performers:

Jarrett Stidham
The rookie quarterback shined once again. Filling in following Hoyer for the second week, Stidham passed for 193 yards and a TD and connected on 14/19 attemtps. Another solid performance from the fourth rounder. If he keeps this up, it may not be long before he passes Hoyer for the second spot on the depth chart.

Damien Harris
The rookies were definitely shining tonight. The first breakout game for the newest addition to the backfield saw Harris rushing for 79 yards on 14 attempts. That was a game high for the rookie, who got 5 more attempts than the next closest back. 5.6 yards per attempt is nothing to bat your eyes at.

Calvin Munson
I’m not gonna lie, I’ve never heard of this guy before in my entire life. But he had 8 total tackles tonight. 5 solo and 3 assists. This guy honestly might get cut next week but good for him. 8 tackles was tied for a game high.

The Patriots improve to 2-0 in the preseason and look really sharp on all sides of the ball. They look to improve to 3-0 next Thursday against the Carolina Panthers.
