Kenny Britt visited with Bills, will make decision "hopefully" over the weekend

It's been almost a week since receiver Kenny Britt made his visit to New England. According to Britt, a decision could be made soon.
"It’s crazy, it might be in a couple days. Throughout this weekend, me and my wife [are] going to sit down and we’re going to talk about it and what’s actually best for us and me mentally as I go through this process. Hopefully the next three days."

Britt, a former first round pick, has received plenty of interest around the league. He's met now with the Bills, Redskins and Rams in addition to the Pats, and has also received some level of interest from the Panthers and Seahawks.

At 6'3" and 223 pounds, Britt is an imposing presence, capable of dominating both in the red zone and as a deep threat. However, a torn ACL and legal trouble off the field kept him from realizing his considerable potential in Tennessee. Considering the multiple risks at play, he isn't expected to fetch anything more than a cheap, one year "prove it" deal on the open market.

Britt has said he enjoyed his visit with New England, even though he didn't get the chance to meet Bill Belichick.
"It was actually better than I thought it was. A lot of guys, a lot of people out there that don’t know or been on the inside or think it’s strict and things like that, but it’s laid back when I got there. They got good people there. I actually worked out for them. The workout went great. I had a good time."
"Bill was out of the building at the time I showed up. I left a thank you card on his desk" Britt added with a laugh.

While many Pats fans have DeSean Jackson fever, Britt could be a much more affordable way to add a big-time playmaker to Tom Brady's receivers. Like Jackson, Britt would bring a big play dynamic to the Pats passing game, but his size could also help a red zone offense that struggled mightily without Rob Gronkowski. There's certainly a lot of risk here, but Britt could be the steal of the offseason if he can get his head screwed on straight.

Here's hoping his decision will make Patriots fans agree with this tweet, sent out the afternoon of his meeting with the Pats.
