Free-agents the Patriots have been/or should be interested in
The rumors around the Patriots so far this off-season has been pretty dry.
Until recently, the Patriots name hadn't come up in rumors about very many players. Arthur Jones, Darrelle Revis and Steve Smith have been the extent of it, and that was all yesterday. They're also reportedly working to re-sign both Julian Edelman and Aqib Talib.
As for what they have done, they recently released safety Steve Gregory and signed long snapper Danny Aiken to an extension and brought back Michael Hoomanwanui. They also released seven under the radar players yesterday including wide receiver T.J. Moe. That's about it.
They've apparently had some preliminary talks with Aqib Talib and Julian Edelman about re-signing, but time is running out and we've yet to see a deal.
